The company says the move coincides with the appointment of industry stalwart Trevor Snowball as the company’s UK national sales manager, reporting to UK director Andrew Little.
The new UK premises will be centrally located at the Centre 500 business park in Newcastle-under-Lyme, near Stoke, County Staffordshire, which sits near to the junction of the A50 and M6 motorway road network, and Viby says that Snowball’s appointment, combined with the launch of the UK headquarters, is part of a concerted drive to capitalise on significant recent sales growth for the company in the UK attachments market. It supplies attachments for wheeled loaders, excavators and telescopic handlers, and it ays its leading product, the Hy-Tip bucket, has seen particular sales growth recently in the waste and recycling industry.
Andrew Little, who has been promoted from UK national sales manager to director, said: “While the sectors we deal with have all experienced challenging times due to the economic climate, Viby has continued to grow its market share here. As a result, the time is right to expand our UK operation.

When the new UK office is launched, Viby will be recruiting additional administration staff, and the company says the parts depot, which will promise a minimum 98% parts availability rate with next-day delivery, will also hold a stock of complete standard buckets and attachments.
