Six Lafarge quarries in the French region of Aquitaine (Bourdelles, Brax, Cabanac-et-Villagrains, Fontet, Les Billaux and Saucats) have received recognition for reaching the highest level of environmental standards set out by Unicem, the French quarries and construction materials union.
