Philippi-Hagenbuch licenses rear eject body technology to CeDe Group of Sweden

Philippi-Hagenbuch (PHIL) has signed an agreement with Håkan Johannesson, vice president of CeDe Group of Malmö, Sweden, licensing its Rear Eject Technology for use in off-highway body applications within the construction and mining sectors to CeDe for use in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Philippi-Hagenbuch’s patented line of rear eject bodies offer a solution for challenging hauling applications

7576 Philippi-Hagenbuch (PHIL) has signed an agreement with Håkan Johannesson, vice president of 3574 CeDe Group of Malmö, Sweden, licensing its Rear Eject Technology for use in off-highway body applications within the construction and mining sectors to CeDe for use in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia.

Rear Eject Bodies manufactured under the agreement by CeDe and shipping into Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be branded as CeDe products and bodies shipped into Australia will be branded under the PHIL brand name.  

“The CeDe Group is an outstanding company that engineers and manufactures a diverse line of equipment for the construction and mining industries. Because of its close proximity to the Port of Malmö and close cooperation with Volvo Construction Equipment, CeDe is able to build customised equipment for 3573 Volvo CE products, install its products on the prime machines and ship them as a turnkey solution direct to the dealer or end user globally. This agreement will help PHIL expand into the European, Middle East and African markets with our rear eject bodies, and it will help CeDe further expand into customised articulated hauler solutions,” says Josh Swank, vice president of sales and marketing for PHIL.

PHIL Engineering, headed by its chief engineer LeRoy Hagenbuch, has led the global off-highway haulage industry in rear eject technology.  In 1985, PHIL released its first rear eject product for use in a landfill environment, hauling refuse.  Since then, the company has have amassed multiple US and global patents on rear eject technology.
