Terex Finlay's new I-100 impact crusher: launched to the Southern African market

668 Terex Finlay is exhibiting with new Southern Africa distributor, 2983 Bell Equipment.

“We look forward to the first 7460 bauma Africa show. It will allow us to reconnect with existing customers, and to meet new customers, together with Bell Equipment,” says Nigel Irvine, sales and marketing director, Terex Finlay.

“It also gives us the opportunity to launch the new I-100 impact crusher to the Southern African market place following its unveiling at bauma in Munich. We’ve had fantastic acceptance from the market place to this machine in Europe, the Americas, and Australasia, and we expect it will enjoy similar success in South Africa.”

Terex Finlay says the I-100 direct drive ø860mm x 860mm horizontal impact crusher gives “unprecedented levels of production in both recycling and quarrying applications” and has the proven Terex chamber along with an advanced electronic control system. The J-1480 jaw crusher incorporates the Terex JW55 single toggle jaw crusher and has a throughput of up to 750tonnes/hour (depending on application and material). It is available with hydrostatic drive for reversible operations for clearing blockages and demolition applications, or direct drive to offer improved fuel efficiency and greater power utilisation.

The 694+, powered by a 395 Caterpillar power unit in Tier 3 and Tier 4 markets, has OPTI-DRIVE dual power: the operator can select from the onboard diesel engine or plug into a generator or mains electric to power the machine.

Terex Finlay’s 883 heavy-duty screen has a forward-facing inclined modular configuration screen box with a 4.8m x 1.5m top deck and a 3.6m x 1.5m bottom deck.
