In China, production of cement in Jiaxing city, Zhejiang Province jumped 14.84% to 184,700tonnes during March 2014.
A growth of 13.05% was seen in the city's bulk cement supply, with bulk cement rate declining 1.38 percentage points to 87.2% as compared to March 2013.
The city supplied 100,300tonnes and 1.3863 million m³ of ready-mixed mortar and ready-mixed concrete respectively during the month.
Between January and March 2014, cement output in Jiaxing rose 7.31% to 2.945 million tonnes, as compared to the same month during 2013.
The supply of bulk cement climbed 5.48% to 2.542 million tonnes, with bulk cement rate decreasing by 1.5 percentage points to 86.32%.
The supply of ready-mixed dry mortar, ready-mixed mortar and ready-mixed concrete increased 49.58%, 38.49% and 22.02% to 145,200 tonnes, 160,800 tonnes and 3.0357 millon m³ respectively.
Also, the supply of bulk cement from medium and large cement firms in Jiaxing climbed 9.19% to 2.4422 million tonnes, with bulk cement rate standing at 86.51% during the three months.
