436 Komatsu has introduced a feature-rich mobile application that allows owners to see critical machine information from the KOMTRAX fleet monitoring system on their Apple smart phones or tablet devices. Said to build on a decade of Komatsu KOMTRAX technology, the new KOMTRAX app gives owners access to their current fleet information anytime and anywhere in a daily, weekly or monthly time increment.

The new App lets owners locate an asset and obtain driving directions to it; identify time worked, idle time and fuel consumption; be notified of cautions with descriptions and time stamps; monitor machine movements; and analyse machine utilisation.

Introduced in Europe in 2006, KOMTRAX is Komatsu’s exclusive wireless monitoring system, now factory fitted on nearly all Komatsu machines. Claimed to be at the peak of machine monitoring technology, it provides a wealth of information in a user friendly format to facilitate efficient machine performance.

The KOMTRAX app can be accessed through the link m-komtrax.eu and it is available in eight different languages (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish).
