Starting with the Godwin S Series, Xylem commits to offer only Final Tier 4 (FT4) engines that deliver high performance while significantly reducing carbon emissions.
The new Godwin pump, launched by Xylem at the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) this week, is equipped with Isuzu’s 4LE2X industrial diesel engine, an advanced diesel engine that complies with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Final Tier 4 (FT4) requirements, and is said to have been shown to deliver significantly greater uptime and lower maintenance.
The company says the Godwin NC150S reduces total cost of ownership, with emissions cut by 90% and fuel consumption by 10% on average. In addition, a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) is said to significantly reduce maintenance.
