Sleiman appointed general manager at Magna Tyres Singapore

Magna Tyres Group has appointed Elie Sleiman as general manager of its Singapore office, effective from March 1.

He will lead the off-road tyre manufacturer's sales within the Oceania & South East Asia Region and has responsibility for extending the Magna brand presence and distribution network. He will focus on developing strong customer relationships.

Magna says it has built "significant market share in the region" in recent years. It adds that, due to the forecasted market potential and huge demand for the brand, it aims to further expand its continuous growing customer base and enhance the strategic, long-term relationships within the high potential region.

Sleiman has 19 years of experience in the tyre industry, including strategy, business analysis, project management and operational roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.

He commented on his new position: “I am looking forward to working closely with the Magna team to achieve our growth ambitions and sales objectives; to expand the presence of the Magna premium quality tyres at our end users and distribution networks.”
