Cement truck overturns on Sierra Highway California

August 30, 2019

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers were dispatched to an intersection of Sierra Highway and Davenport road where a cement truck had overturned, according to The Signal.

The report says the driver walked away from the crash and was cleared of injuries by medical personnel.

Eric Priessman, CHP officer confirmed there were no hazardous materials in the truck’s cargo.

“There’s nothing leaking from it, as of 9:04 (am), it’s still on our log, so the call is still open,” he continues. “They got two tow units out there trying to upright a fully loaded cement truck.”

Drivers near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Davenport Road were slightly delayed as CHP and firefighters redirected traffic.
