JCB's JZ141 crawler excavator has made its North American debut at the 218 Rental Show. It comes with an optimised engine and hydraulic system for power, productivity and efficiency, which is said to result in up to 10% lower fuel consumption than competing 33,000 lb models. In addition, the machine's regular engine oils help to reduce operating costs, while its 98dB noise levels enable it to perform in inner-city construction projects.
JZ141 can also carry out work in non-legislated territories without any requirement for changes to after-treatment systems to help boost residual values and lower total cost of ownership for clients.
Tyler Peterson, product manager for excavators at JCB North America, said: “The JZ141 excavator provides rental operations and construction professionals with a powerful, efficient excavator that is easy to service and well suited for construction applications on confined work sites and in urban environments."
