Cemex says its digital platform Cemex Go is being used by 60% of its recurring customers worldwide after the first year of operation.
According to Cemex, more than 20,000 customers are using Cemex Go in 18 countries. These users are placing around a third of their orders – or around 20% of Cemex’s global sales – through the platform.
Cemex Go offers a digital suite of services that help customers simplify and streamline their transaction and interactions with Cemex. The platform is also expected to generate data analytics to better anticipate customers' needs.
Fernando González, CEO of Cemex, says: “Due to the success of Cemex Go during its first year, we can create more value to our company by offering the innovative digital commerce platform to other industry participants around the world.”
Neoris is commercialising the platform to heavy building material companies across the world in partnership with IBM. Both companies will utilise open source capabilities in the cloud to accelerate the global commercialisation, implementation and ongoing development of the platform.
