The platform can be accesed via multiple devices and allows customers to place orders, review their history of transactions, track their shipments real-time via GPS, receive instant notifications of their order status, evaluate and adjust orders, request invoicing and make payments.
The construction materials group says CEMEX Go now has more than 20,000 customers in 18 countries. Currently, those customers are placing around a third of their orders — or about 20% of CEMEX’s global sales — through the platform.
CEMEX says it expects that the digital platform will generate data-rich analytics to better anticipate customers’ needs and focus on the most valuable solutions to them.
“Due to the success of CEMEX Go during its first year, we can create more value to our company by offering the innovative digital commerce platform to other industry participants around the world,” said CEMEX CEO Fernando González.
