Volvo Construction Equipment has chosen Scott Equipment Company to offer its products and services from locations in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Volvo CE says the move will strengthen its presence in the Southern region of the US through Scott’s focus on a rental fleet of general purpose equipment, in addition to continuing to offer the full Volvo product line.
Scott closed an agreement with Little Rock, Arkansas-based Hugg & Hall Equipment Company (H&H) and is taking over all Volvo CE distribution in that state.
As part of the deal, Scott will take on H&H employees servicing Volvo CE products and services in its four Arkansas locations — Fort Smith, Springdale, Texarkana and Little Rock.
Additionally, Scott will take over all Volvo CE business from H&H and transfer to the company its Toyota material handling equipment line for the state of Arkansas.
