Doprastav’s expansion plans in Slovakia

Slovak construction firm Doprastav has announced plans to invest in new sites. By the end of 2013 the company plans to build two new asphalt compound production units and is currently investing €2.2million in the purchase of a bitumen compound packaging unit, set to open at the end of July 2012. All the new units are earmarked for assisting with construction works in Poland, with around six new jobs being created.

Slovak construction firm 6052 Doprastav has announced plans to invest in new sites.

By the end of 2013 the company plans to build two new asphalt compound production units and is currently investing €2.2million in the purchase of a bitumen compound packaging unit, set to open at the end of July 2012. All the new units are earmarked for assisting with construction works in Poland, with around six new jobs being created.

In 2011, Doprastav merged six units for production of compounds under its new asphalt subsidiary Doprastav Asfalt, which is based in Zvolen and has 42 staff. Last year, the company's merged asphalt production unit generated €8.2million in revenues and produced 155,500tonnes of asphalt compounds.
