Eiffage's new Kleemann crushing and screening fleet is boosting productivity at Carrière Roland in France Carrière Roland took delivery of its new Kleemann crushing and screening equipment last year
France-based construction firm
Some of the most recent investment is evident in Carrière Roland in Préfontaine to the south of Paris, where limestone has been extracted since the mid-1990s. Work at the site was boosted in August last year by the delivery of a new mobile screen and crusher from
Eiffage is using the new Mobirex MR 130 Z mobile impact crusher to process feed material of up to 800mm size into an 0-60mm product at a rate of up to 300tonnes per hour. The crusher is fitted with a primary double deck screen to eliminate fines before crushing to improve the quality of the final product, and also avoid crushing material that already meets the size requirements.
After crushing, material is then passed over a Mobiscreen MS 15 Z to split the aggregates into three fractions - 0-20mm, 20-50mm and 50-80mm, which are mainly used for road construction. According to Kleemann, the MS 15 Z's 1.52 by 4.88m screen deck allows the machine to achieve outputs of 400tonnes per hour, making it an ideal match for Euffage's Mobirex MR 130 Z mobile impact crusher. n
