It has been reported that prices of construction materials in Poland noted an average fall of nearly 3% in the fourth-quarter of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.
Prices are expected to start rising again in the second-quarter of 2014.
The construction costs of bridges and roads fell by 3.4% and 4.5% respectively, and in addition, the costs of building detached homes and flats noted respective falls of 3.3% and 2.6%.
The construction materials were cheaper in the last three months of 2013 due to lower overall construction output as well as lower demand for new homes.
