Operators of a Rubble Master’s RM 120GO! mobile impact crusher can now use the new RM GO! SMART service tool to help optimise the crusher’s efficiency and productivity.

SMART app.

"Service has always been a key aspect of our company philosophy. The proven services such as the RM Academy, the 24/7 service hotline and RM Lifetime Support were extended in 2016 with the addition of the RM GO! SMART digital service innovation," explained Gerald Hanisch, founder and CEO of Linz, Austria-headquartered Rubble Master.

He continued: "Together with the RM GO! SMART service and optimisation tool, the RM 120GO! is paving our way to the future. With a throughput rate of up to 350 t/h and a weight of only 35 tonnes, the mobile impact crusher is breaking new ground for us in every respect.”

Thanks to the RM 120GO!, RM says it offers a compact alternative to other crushers in this performance class. Service, cost saving and efficiency are said to be just some of the criteria why companies decide to invest in a Rubble Master impact crusher. The RM GO! SMART app is now said by the firm to “add another differentiator”.

A company press release adds: “RM machines are often found in the remotest parts of the world. It has now been possible to resolve what previously failed due to poor network coverage at the crusher job sites (e.g. mines or tunnels). RM GO! SMART provides the right information at the right time and above all at the right place. To avoid the problem of unstable internet connections the RM solution saves data temporarily on the mobile end device, and is thus available at any place and at any time.”

Currently the five most important performance parameters are said to be evaluated and made available live on the RM GO! SMART service tool. These values are compiled from over 200 linked data sets such as the power draw of the motor or the temperature of liquids. If a threshold value is exceeded it is reported immediately and independently by the crusher to the operator. Rubble Master says it will soon be possible to use around 50 of these digital troubleshooting routines via the app. The company says that it plans to add further, more detailed analyses and optimisation possibilities with the help of additional service parameters.
