Sandvik's SC Screen offers circular motion screening on an inclined deck, and its modular design is aimed to allow it to be used in a variety of classifying applications without the need for costly modifications. A number of different types of media can be used and changed as often as required. The screen also features apertures for water spraying, so that the customer can install washing equipment.

Metso Minerals has added to compact crushing range with the launch of the Lokotrack LT110C jaw crusher. According to Metso, the new 58tonne machine is designed for primary crushing work with a rugged design but its compact size makes it easier to transport. Powered by a low-emission 310 kW Cat C13 diesel engine, the LT110C is 15.6m long, 3.0m wide and 3.85m high when being transported.

But as these larger mobile machines reach the size of being 'less mobile' development is shifting to improving efficiency of tracked and wheeled crushers and screeners.
