Germany’s AKW holds ceremony for new sand/gravel plant

Amberger Kaolinwerke (AKW) of Hirschau, a subsidiary of Frechen-based Quarzwerke, has held the topping-out ceremony for its new sand and gravel plant in Schnaittenbach. Investment in the new plant will add up to almost €25 million. The new plant will have around 30 staff.
