Spancrete has partnered with Chinese builder Shanghai CITI_RAISE Construction Group to produce modern pre-cast buildings in the city.

The company is building multi-level, multi-family homes with its new Spancrete precast system, which

includes a Spancrete GT-120 slipformer system to produce Hollowcore slabs.

Through the partnership, Shanghai CITI_RAISE Construction Group now produces its own pre-cast concrete building components with the guidance and resources of Spancrete’s 70 years’ of expertise

Cemex celebrated Suppliers’ Day 2016 announcing the winners of the Mexican edition of Integrate, its Suppliers Innovation Programme.

From a field of 28 suppliers, Cemex recognised three winning ideas for their innovation and their contribution to the company; the communities where it operates, and the environment.

A new Cemex UK quarry in Cromwell, county Lincolnshire has just started supplying high quality sand and gravel into the local market and the area around north Nottinghamshire in England.

The new 26.5 hectare site will provide approximately 200,000 tonnes/year and has reserves of an estimated 2.4 million tonnes. Norway is now drawing up plans for a road tunnel mega project. The Rogfast tunnel will be record beating link when it is complete as it will run for a total of 27km. This will make it the longest road tunnel ever constructed and at depths reaching 390m below sea level, also the world’s deepest. The route runs from Randaberg, close to the city of Stavanger, to Bokn, in Rogaland, with an additional spur connecting to the island of Kvitsøy.
