Dr Pascal Peduzzi is the director of UNEP/GRID-Geneva, a Switzerland-based centre of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Peduzzi heads up a team of 22 Global Resource Information Database (GRID-Geneva) data scientists transforming data into information to support decision-making processes. The team is working tirelessly to secure funding to fully act on the key findings of its landmark report on global sand sustainability, which includes a roadmap for future-proofing more sustainable sand supply to meet the world’s huge building needs. First Terex Recycling Systems plant installed at Collard Group
