Intercomp, a manufacturer of portable vehicle weighing and measurement products, has introduced the S30 CPU advanced touchscreen indicator for the self-contained operation of portable scales.

US-based Intercomp says the new indicator provides the ability to efficiently run monitoring programmes for applications like weight compliance, inventory tracking, and safety screening.

Vulcan Materials posts increased Q2 earnings

US aggregates giant Vulcan Materials has reported earnings from continuing operations of US$211m (US$1.58 per diluted share) in the second quarter, an increase of 7% on Q2 2019.

HeidelbergCement supplies concrete for new Genoa bridge

The new San Giorgio Bridge in Genoa, Italy was opened on August 3, replacing the Morandi Bridge which collapsed in August 2018. The new bridge was designed by world-famous architect Renzo Piano for his hometown of Genoa and has a total length of 1,067m.

SRMG to reclaim fly ash at Colorado Generating Station

Salt River Materials Group (SRMG) is to remove or 'harvest' fly ash from an onsite landfill at the Colorado Generating Station owned by Salt River Project (SRP).

SRMG, a supplier of portland and masonry cements, will invest additional capital dollars in beneficiation equipment to process the previously landfilled ash, resulting in a long term supply of ASTM C618 Class F fly ash. The harvesting project will permanently and significantly reduce the size of the current landfill, SRMG says.

EvoQuip has appointed its first distributor in South America after Dynsai SA (Dynsai) became the Terex brand's official distributor in Argentina.

Dynsai will represent the full EvoQuip portfolio of compact crushing and screening equipment, genuine spare parts and machine maintenance.

Dynsai began in 2002, a sister company of Repas SA. Initially Dynsai started in sales of construction equipment and has grown more into a material handling business.
