The rapidly expanding Case Construction Equipment dealer network has been strengthened further with the appointment of Belgian machinery specialist Key-Tec. FLSmidth's board of directors and group executive management say that following the approval by Ludowici's shareholders and the necessary regulatory and court approvals, FLSmidth's acquisition of the Australian engineering and equipment supply company Ludowici has been completed today. Ludowici provides coal centrifuges, vibrating screens and complementary wear resistant products and services for the minerals industries.
Tata Steel invests in Netherlands plant
Demonstrating its commitment to delivering differentiated products to its customers, Tata Steel has completed a significant investment in upgrading one of the coilers on the hot strip mill at its IJmuiden plant in the Netherlands.
The investment paves the way for the development of heavier-gauge strip for use in the manufacture of articulated trucks, and of higher-strength steel grades for use in cranes and machine boom arm applications.

Cemex UK and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, cementing their relationship for another five years. The two organisations have been working in close partnership for the last three years and during that time, with the support of the RSPB, Cemex has created and managed nature habitats equivalent to an area covered by 21 Olympic stadiums. Loesche supplies largest-ever cement mill in Europe
Nuryol Çimento in Turkey has decided to use Loesche as the supplier of all mills for its new 4,000tonnes/day cement plant project in Karasu, around 150km east of Istanbul. Loesche will supply mills for coal grinding, cement raw material grinding and clinker grinding. The complete project execution and coordination will be done by Sintek Mining Machinery Industry Construction, which is based in Ankara.
Loesche will supply one Loesche mill type LM 46.4 to grind cement raw material at a rate of 330tonnes/hour
