Sweden’s Sandahlsbolagen invests in concrete factory
Swedish company Sandahlsbolagen will invest SEK 20 million (€2.14 million) in a semi-mobile concrete factory that can be disassembled and rebuilt within two weeks.
The factory will have a capacity to produce six tonnes of concrete at a time and will be operated through Betongbolaget Sweden, which is a subsidiary to Sandahlsbolagen
LRI in Philippines to raised 2015 cement output
The output of cement is being raised by Lafarge Republic (LRI) in the Philippines.
Later in 2015, operation at a cement mill will be started by the company in Norzagaray, and a cement mill with a capacity of 850,000tonne has been commissioned by LRI at the Teresa manufacturing facility during the first three months of 2015.
It is reported that Renato C Sunico, president of LRI, said that the increased in output capacity will be able to enhance the market position of LRI.

Semen Indonesia’s target for factory
A target to begin operations by 2016 has been set by Semen Indonesia for a cement factory in Rembang regency of Central Java.
Cement branded as Semen Gresik will be produced in the Rembang factory.
The value of investment in the factory stands at IDR 4.45tn (€299.19 million/US$332.30 million), and production capacity is 3 million tons of cement/year.
The construction works of the factory are expected to be completed by the end of 2016, according to Semen Indonesia's president Director Suparni.

Indonesia: Semen Baturaja's clinker line work
Construction work has started on a clinker production line contracted by Indonesia-based Semen Baturaja Persero to China-based Sinoma's unit Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute.
The production line will have a daily output volume of 5,000tonnes.

A new plant making asphalt-concrete mix for road construction has been launched in Magadan, Russia (Far East).
Its producing capacity totals 120tonnes/hour.
Investments amounted to RUB 60 million (€1.04 million).

Dangote commissions $500mn cement plant in Ethiopia
Dangote Cement has commissioned its 2.5 million tonne cement plant in Ethiopia, as the company inches towards the mark of 62 million tonnes total production capacity globally before the end of 2017.
